Whats in the bag

In case you're wondering what I can fit in my Proenza Schouler PS11 clutch:

A mini iPad
Celine Audrey sunglasses
NARS Pure Matte lipstick (Madere)
Bobbi Brown creamy concealer
Kiehl's lip balm
Chanel No. 5 hand cream

It's not much, since it's just a clutch, but these are the essential items I carry with me ALL the time.

lazy day

Nameless neon yellow sweater, American Apparel leggings, Ray Ban aviators, Balenciaga bag, Givenchy & Hermes bracelets, Isabel Marant sneakers

Hello there!  You know those days you're just lazy, you want to be really comfortable but you don't want to look like you just got outta bed?  Well, here's an outfit you can try out.  I'm pretty sure you have at least one bright, almost too bright you're afraid to wear out kindda sweater in your closet.  Well, this is the sweater you want to throw on with a pair of edgy leggings and some wedge sneakers.  Ta da! You have an edgy casual outfit -- chic and cool, but most importantly simple and comfortable. :) PS. don't forget the accessories and sunglasses!

The boyfriend jacket

H&M men's tee, ASOS oversized denim jacket, Ray Ban aviators, Proenza Schouler bag, Zara flats, Givenchy & Hermes bracelet, Cartier watch

Happy Friday! Today is a gloomy rainy day but I have a bright casual look for you in this post. :)
I had this oversized denim jacket that I love.  You can find one here.  It's such a great piece to wear when you want to dress down but still look stylish -- a laid-back and effortless vintage look.  It's great to balance proportions with a skater skirt (like how I did here) or a floral dress.  What do you think? :)

Shades of mellow

Zara jacket, Zara pants, Zara blouse, Celine sunglasses, Balenciaga bag, Aldo pumps

I think this is the first time I'm completely Zara'd out from top to bottom.  I put together a very simple outfit with my pale yellow pants I got from Zara last year.  I'm feeling very mellow and calm as the warm weather is soaking into my system.  The air in LA is so dry, I'm breaking out and my hair is sticking to my face.  Not the best feeling in the world, but am trying to take in as much as I can of the few days of sun we have.
Any thoughts or comments? :)

Casual spotlight

English Rose sequins skirt, knit sweater from boutique on Melrose, Proenza Schouler PS11 clutch, Ray Ban aviators, Givenchy and Hermes bracelets, Converse sneakers

The weather is surprisingly amazing in LA, it's making me happy and giddy.  I wanted to flaunt some sparkle in the sun with my sequins skirt, so I dressed it down to a casual look.  I wore my skirt with an old open knit sweater I got from a boutique on Melrose and finished it off with my favorite basic sneakers, my Converse chucks.  Very casual with a touch of shine.  :)

Keep Calm and Forget the Past

Celine Audrey sunglasses, Zara striped tee, Zara blazer, J Brand jeans, Alexander McQueen scarf, Chanel bag, Hermes bracelet

Happy Friday everyone!  I don't know why but I felt like this past week went by really slow.  Maybe I was just looking forward to the weekend, not that I have any special plans or anything.  You know the times you just dread each day and want it to be the weekend already!  Well, it's finally Friday and I can't wait to spend time with my adorable dog, Caesar!  (He's been telling me that I haven't been playing with him enough)

Anyway, I categorize this outfit as a very classic, timeless look with a modern appeal.  My Alexander McQueen scarf and blue blazer add a more contemporary feel to the basic blazer and pants look.  And I can't look any more classic with my Chanel Classic :)

Stare into my eyes

Topshop x Emma Cook sweater, Uniqlo coat, Zara blouse, J Brand jeans, Balenciaga bag, Converse sneakers

I bring to you one of my favorite coat looks!  This awesome coat I'm wearing here was on sale at Uniqlo during my trip in New York.  I just LOVE this menswear-inspired silhouette -- it's oversized and super lightweight!  It's a great coat to throw on when you're bored of your annual parka or peacoat.

Oh, and another thing about me: I am definitely a sneakers type of girl when it comes to comfortable shoes.  I repeatedly buy and wear my Converse sneakers until they wear out.  Some of my shoes are definitely NOT made for walking, so I often pack a backup pair of Converse sneakers with me, in my car or in my bag.  I love how it adds some spunk into my outfits. :)

The Royal Dot

Zara jacket, Cotton Candy polkadot blouse, H&M faux leather skirt, Rebecca Minkoff MAC clutch, Karen Walker sunglasses, Rolex watch

So, this past weekend I went to Zara and found this jacket on sale!  As you all know, one of my favorite places to shop at is Zara.  Their jackets and coats are so amazing and most importantly, Zara always has my size. :) I thought this deep royal blue (almost purple) hue was beautiful and it would be an amazing contrast to my basic pieces.  Zara's sales never fail to surprise me!

I felt like the jacket was very femme and chic, I paired it with my faux leather skater skirt and polkadot blouse. (Oh, and yes! I found my polkadot blouse -- I'm still on "The Hunt" haha)

Tweedly Dum

H&M men's t-shirt, Zara coat, Urban Outfitters destroyed denim pants, Aldo pumps, Celine bag, Hermes bracelet, Cartier watch

Hello everyone! It's been a long time!  I had a fantastic weekend with my family.  Not to mention the great deals my husband and I got from post holiday sales!! :)

I got this Zara coat a while back and it was my first time wearing it this weekend.  I can't express how much I love it -- the tweed details and gold hardware!  And of course, it was a perfect match with my Celine luggage with deep red piping.  It's such a sophisticated coat, I dressed it a tad down with my old distressed pants I got from Urban Outfitters a long time ago.  I'd love to hear any comments or thoughts! :)
